British Retail Consortium (Food Safety, Packaging, Consumer products)
The BRC Food Safety Standard is designed to provide certification for food manufacturers who implement good manufacturing performs and have the supporting quality management systems to produce safe products whilst meeting their customers’ quality requirements.
BRC Food Safety can be practice to any food processing or packing operation where open food is handled, processed or packed. This may range from primary products such as production pack units and slaughter houses through to processed foods, canneries and high risk, ready to eat products.
Our aim is to build long-term relationships with our clients to meet their needs in implementation and maintenance of a BRC Food Safety management system.
BRC Packaging
The BRC packaging standard for Packaging and Packaging Materials Industry. The BRC packaging Standard is designed to guide packaging manufacturers and converters to implement good manufacturing practices. It is intended to help them in producing quality management systems in order to develop and manufacture safe, packaging materials meeting their customer’s quality requirements for both food and consumer products.
BRC Consumer Products
The BRC Global Standard for Consumer Products has been developed to give added assurance to customers that relevant legislative and safety requirements have been met and that the products they purchase are safe to use.
- BRC divided the standard into two versions:
- BRC Global Standard for Consumer Products – General Merchandise
- BRC Global Standard for Consumer Products – Personal Care and Household
Both of the standards can be certificated at either Foundation Level or at Higher Level.
